Our GymNext clock/timer was purchased for our volleyball gym and the cage was a must to protect it from wayward balls. It is working great at protecting the timer. If a revision is made I would recommend having at least one set of the tabs used to secure the cage at 16 inches apart to secure directly to studs in the wall. I had to mount the timer and cage to another board and then secured that board to studs because the volleyballs would have loosened any wall anchors used over time.
Needed this for our timer and was the perfect fit.
